The Crew in Death Valley

after making photo documentations of where we've been with posing with Legos instead of our selves, Stev decides that we should all pose with our minifig selves

The clothing aside from mikekoba, dont match, as the figs are from our everyday wardrobe and when we go in normal adventures. MikeKoba wears the same jacket however in this photo.

Stev, director of photography and lighting expert on wingtorn's films. his random outbursts in the past has fueled some of wingtorn's most random films so far.

Kayyyyy, plays voice of Kayyyyy in blooper reel (herself) and is the girl in the live action parts of the green lantern film.

aside from getting sidetracked and taking mostly pictures of my newly made clone squad, i still was able to bust a few with my crew while in the desert.

as with all our travels, mikeKoba likes to walk a lil ways behind us and take snapshots. and funny thing is...kayyyyy always blazes ahead, with Stev close behind. i walk a lil midways, as i stop to take my minifig pics and try to keep up. and mikey.... we know what he likes to do.

as we go on our hike, pink rocks and other shades adorn the desert floor. Kayyyyy poses ontop boulders....and next to more irregular colored rocks.

Gosh! i really like making clone troopers moving across the desert floor. i dont often get the chance to actually have the background to place them in this environment.

Recon Through the Valley

i recently created my own squad of clones. (for traveling through the wilderness) it consists of a single commander, two basic soldiers, a hotshot, and a lone stealth scout. they are currently very basic looking, and they can only be identified apart from one another based on their cape/cloak styling.

the scout's cloak has a hood that is functional and can be pulled down or put up, altho one may wonder why they would need such a thing as they wear helmets already.

i was in Death Valley for some reason, and had a good time. there were lots of cliffs on the mountains, and at times i was worried that my minifigs would lose its balance and slide down and off the mountain.


the top picture was indeed macro, and that cliff didnt look like a huge drop...maybe in minifig scale it did. but in our world, it was still about 5-8 meters from the ground. The lower pic's from that point to around the mountain still took several hours. on the right of the minifig, the hills had a trail ontop them. the path was about 35-45 centimeters wide.
